Singapore gets Meta AI Glasses from S$629
Pick between Oakley or Ray-Ban, or even both
Meta’s AI Glasses are officially here in Singapore, and these aren’t the ones announced in September last year. Instead, these are the newer Gen 2 versions announced on March 31, 2026, designed with prescription lenses in mind. And like previous Meta glasses that are designed in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, they don’t come with AR capabilities.
You’ll be able to pick from the Ray-Ban Meta Blayzer Optics (Gen 2) and Ray-BanMeta Scriber Optics (Gen 2), with interchangeable nosepads so they fit better — in particularly the lower version, which sits better on Asian faces like mine.
These are designed for all-day comfort, as well as optician-adjustable temple tips. I’m still waiting for my prescription lenses, but they feel quite comfortable, though heavier than my usual pair of glasses. Of course, compared to my usual pair, they are much thicker, especially the temples.
One thing to note though, these start from S$699, if you want the cheapest, that’s the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer, which starts from S$629. But that’s just for the black version and with normal or green lenses. The prices go up if you want polarized lenses to use them as sunnies, and up to S$759 for transition lenses
If you’re the sporty sort, the Oakley Meta HTSN and Oakley Meta Vanguard will be your jam. The Oakley Meta HTSN is a mix between sporty and lifestyle, and prices start from S$659 with the Prizm lenses (which boost contrast for sporty stuff such as snow so you can see better).
Then there’s the Oakley Meta Vanguard, which are wraparounds with Prizm lenses as well. It’s also the only one with the camera placed in the centre, which should give you a better balanced view. Prices start from S$819.
The other spectacles feature one camera that can take up to 3K portrait photos and videos located on the left side of the frame. This does mean you may need to turn a little for more centered view I guess. I’m still testing this, though, and will have more thoughts on this soon.
